Christmas Cards

Ezra sat down to write his Christmas cards. First, he needed to figure out who he was sending them to. There was his mother, of course, and his brother. Each of them should hear from him, at Christmas, if no other time.

Then, there was Chris and Winnie, Devin and Morgan. He paused, tapping his pen on the tabletop. Josiah barked softly and Mischief leaped up onto the table in front of him. “You belong on the floor, young lady,” he told her.

Josiah hopped onto the chair beside him. He tilted his head from one side to the other. Sighing, Ezra reached out and smoothed his fur. He sighed again and started writing his Christmas cards once more.
