Quite Playing Around

Leonas frowned at the twins.  “You probably shouldn’t play up there,” he said, shaking his head.  His brows furrowed.  “If you fell, you’d hurt yourselves.  If you break the tree, the professors might be cross.”

“You’re probably right,” Fritz said.  He glanced at his brother, who nodded agreement.  Then, they both swung out of the tree and dropped onto the soft turf.

“Where’s Hans?” Erik asked, frowning at Leonas.  “He’s not with you?”

“He’s on the hill, coloring,” Leonas said, shrugging.

“He shouldn’t be alone,” Calliope said, her tone serious.  She waved at the others.  “Let’s go keep him company.”
